Affiliate Disclosure

The plain-English version

Some of the links on Pluggie are affiliate links. If you click one and buy
something, the company pays me a commission. It costs you nothing extra — and where
I have a discount code, it usually costs you less than the normal price.

How I mark them

Affiliate links carry an #ad label and a disclosure line before the link,
so you know what it is before you click.
Technically, they’re tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" — the standard used to mark paid links.
Any article containing one says so near the top or at the recommendation itself.

What a commission does not buy

It does not buy a good review, a top spot in a list, or silence about a product’s weaknesses.
My ranking is based on what I’d tell a friend who asked. Where two products are close and only one
pays a commission, I say that out loud in the article.

I also recommend products with no affiliate programme when they’re the right answer — the
free option, the local option, the “don’t buy anything, do this instead” option.

Prices and deals change

Deals expire, prices move, and companies change their plans without telling me. I date every deal
post and re-check the big ones, but always confirm the current price on the seller’s own page
before you pay. If you find something out of date, tell me and I’ll fix it.

Nothing on Pluggie is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Articles that mention crypto or
payment tools are about how the tools work, not about what you should do with your money. Do
your own research, and never risk money you can’t afford to lose.
